Croatian → English subtitles · for distributors, agencies, creators selling abroad
Croatian audio. English captions.
10× cheaper than humans.
Croatian is a long-tail language. YouTube auto-translate misses the meaning; human translators charge agency rates. Titlomat is the Croatian-to-English subtitle pipeline content licensors, agencies, and international distributors use to move Croatian / Adriatic catalogues across borders, automatically.

YouTube doesn't caption Croatian. You pay for it.
01
Domestic viewers without sound
Public transit, late nights with sleeping kids — they can't follow along, so they don't watch.
02
Zero international reach
YouTube auto-translate only kicks in if a source caption exists. No Croatian → no auto-translate → invisible outside the region.
03
Search-algorithm penalty
Subtitles make your content watchable for more viewers and give YouTube more language context. Better comprehension and retention can contribute to stronger performance — and without captions you're behind well-prepared competitors.
For a Croatian podcast at 2,000–10,000 views per episode, all three factors realistically add up to 15–30% of audience left on the table over a few months — comparable with Discovery Networks (2014), Verizon and Publicis Media (2019), and Preply (2024). Look at the numbers →

Questions we got from our first creators.
Don't see your answer? Email us directly — same-day reply.
How accurate are the Croatian captions?
Over 95% on clean studio recordings — fewer than 5 misspelled words per hundred. Add guest names and brand terms to your custom dictionary so spelling stays right.
How long does processing take?
We process an hour of audio in 5–12 minutes. You see status in the dashboard, but you don't have to wait — when it's done, the captions are already on YouTube.
What if I don't want captions to publish automatically?
Turn on mandatory review-before-publish. We prepare, you click confirm. Default on Creator, optional on Pro.
Which languages do you support?
Source languages: Croatian, Serbian, Bosnian, Montenegrin and Slovenian. Translation into English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Translation is available on every plan including Free — it's paid from your monthly credits.
What's a credit?
1 credit = €0.005 (half a cent). Transcription costs 3 credits per minute; translation costs 5 credits per minute per target language — so one fully subtitled language (transcribe + translate) works out to 8 credits per minute. Monthly spend scales with how long your videos are and how many languages you turn on.
What if I run out of monthly credits?
Buy a top-up pack — €5 (1,000 credits), €10 (2,000), €25 (5,000), €50 (10,000). Purchased credits don't expire with the monthly cycle — they stay in your wallet until you spend them. Or upgrade your plan if monthly usage consistently exceeds your allotment.
What happens if I cancel?
Your paid period runs to its end, we stop processing new videos, existing captions stay on YouTube. No friction, no win-back emails.
What OAuth scopes do you ask for?
Google shows youtube.force-ssl, which technically covers more than captions — it's the only scope YouTube offers for caption upload. Titlomat uses it solely to read video info and create or update caption tracks. We don't read comments, don't touch video content, don't delete anything. Why does Google's screen sound broader? →
